2026 PLL Little League Value Awards

Community—Austin Matthews
            Nominated by Bo Prather
“Austin, a majors player, has consistently demonstrated outstanding commitment to our community by actively supporting our minors players. He has attended nearly every practice and game, always ready to lend a helping hand. During practices, Austin has willingly taken on various roles—whether it's serving as a base runner, assisting with drills, or participating in practice when we're short players. His positive attitude and willingness to step up have made a significant impact on our team.
Beyond practices, Austin is a strong supporter at games, where he not only cheers on the team but also takes on leadership roles in the dugout, guiding and encouraging younger players. His presence provides a valuable role model, offering inspiration and mentorship to the kids. Additionally, Austin has generously extended his support to my coach pitch team, volunteering his time to help out wherever needed.
Austin's dedication, sportsmanship, and community spirit exemplify the true essence of teamwork and mentorship. His contributions go beyond just playing; he actively fosters a positive environment and helps build confidence among our young players. He truly embodies the spirit of community and is a deserving nominee for this recognition.”

Inclusion—Blake Powell-Davis
  Nominated by Kevin Tabor
“Blake lifts the spirit of the entire team. He’s the first to cheer on every player on the team and ensure everyone is included at practice and in the dugout. He daps-up the other team and acknowledges good plays on both sides of the ball. He works hard and leads by an example of how to play the game; always giving 100 percent effort on the field. He is tuned-in and has brought us together as a Team. I’m proud to nominate Blake for the Little League Player for Inclusion.”

Integrity—Cannon Call
  Nominated by Kevin Tabor
“Cannon always shows up to play the game the right way. He finds a way to support each player, coach, and umpire’s decision after each play. He doesn’t give up; continuing to always hustle and offer encouragement to the team whether winning or losing. He stays engaged, brings fun to the team and is a true example of good sportsmanship. I’m proud to nominate Cannon for the Little League Player Award for integrity.”

Teamwork—Audrey Ward
Nominated anonymously
“She consistently demonstrates outstanding teamwork by encouraging her teammates, communicating clearly on and off the field, and always putting the success of the team above individual recognition. Her positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to stay supportive under pressure make her an invaluable part of the team.”

Fun—Savanna Colson
Nominated anonymously
“Savanna is always bringing the fun with the kids and adults! She is always helping at the concessions stand and doing whatever is need for the league. And the best thing is all the kids LOVE her!”
Community—Jeremy Fox
 Nominated by several
“Jeremy exemplifies the true spirit of Little League baseball. He has dedicated countless hours to volunteering as an umpire for the minors division, consistently providing excellent officiating. Beyond his role on the field, Jeremy takes the time to ensure the players understand the rules and the reasons behind certain calls, fostering a positive and educational environment for the kids.”

Fun—Bo Prather
            Nominated by Heather Prather
“All kids really enjoy having him as a coach. I’m not sure who has more fun, Coach Bo or the kids. He just wants the kids to love the game and want to come back and play again next season. If he can help them grow and learn in the sport, that’s an added bonus. He wants all the kids to improve even if they aren’t on his team. He could be nominated for every single one of these values. But I think making baseball fun is most important to him.”

Inclusion—Ryan Boone
Nominated by Allison Vourakis
“Coach Pitch Baseball is not an easy task for coaching. Constantly trying to teach skills, teamwork ,ensure safety, redirect kiddos from chasing butterflies and doing cartwheels in the outfield and have FUN! Ages 5-9 is a big swing and Coach Boone makes it happen for all of them. He makes sure all the kiddos are included , engaged and is constantly showing positive reinforcement with high fives, excitement and having teachable moments that show the kids “you’re doing great, but let’s try this next time” my kids have been on his team for the last two seasons. His encouragement has been such a large part of them going from not caring to wanting to try harder, do better and compete. So many of the kids now love baseball- but if you talk to Coach Boone or see him on the field, I can assure you he’s the one enjoying this experience even more than they are and that’s what makes him a great coach!! ❤️”

Integrity—Roger Bullard
 Nominated by Bo Prather
“I would like to nominate my assistant coach, Roger Bullard, for exemplifying integrity and unwavering commitment. Despite his son Nolan breaking his arm and ending his season before any games started, Roger has consistently demonstrated dedication by attending nearly every game and practice. He even ran a practice over spring break while I was out of town.”

Teamwork—Beth Edmondson
 Nominated by Mary
“Beth is the perfect example of a volunteer that goes above and beyond! She is the best team mom! She makes calendars so we can keep all of our crazy schedules together, sending reminders, and keeping the score board going plus more. We appreciate all you do behind the scenes Beth to make it a great season!”
