Thank you so much for stepping up to the plate and becoming a team parent! You have made things easier for your manager in letting him coach your team's player and having to worry less about distributing information. We thank you for helping your team and the league out!
As a team parent, you are an important link between the manager and the parents as well as the manager and the league!
Some things that the team parents are responsible for, but not limited to:
Creating an online account-Distribute this information to your parents and you can also receive text alerts! Click here to learn how to do that.
Distributing the Code of Conduct- you will need to make sure your parents are aware of the rules listed on the Code of Conduct. They are very basic but it needs to be outlined, please help us in managing that.
Fundraising- Help distribute the fundraising information to your parents so everyone is on the same page
Picture Day- This is a hectic day for the photographer and the teams. Help alleviate the stress by repeating the information provided by the league to your parents.
Concession Stand Duty- This is one of the hardest tasks you will have as a team parent but you can handle it! Teams are assigned a few days out of the whole season to work in the concession stand. If no one signs up, we can't have an open concession stand and that means no food or drinks for your little ones. Don't disappoint them by having a closed concession stand! The monies we get from the concessions go back to equipment and field maintenance. We want to make sure our children are getting the best we can offer!
